Alan & Phyllis Thatcher, A Boutique North Island Explorer Tour, Travelled on 22 Mar 2026

Seeing and learning about the Kauri forests, being introduced to Maori culture and history, enjoying lovely boutique accommodation, great restaurants, and scenic driving especially along the coast such as the Bay of Islands and Mercury Bay. Loved Auckland with its many attractions.
We would like to thank Owen for his outstanding, friendly and timely service in organising the tour. Everything happened quickly and easily and enabled us to enjoy seeing and experiencing the north island of New Zealand.

Harland & Sue Lisle, South Island Natural Discovery, Travelled on 21 Mar 2026

All activities were great, loved them all, to pick one or two, the Doubtful Sound overnight and the Tasman Lake Glacier tours were a great experience.
Convenience of pre-planed accommodation and activities, along with the app made for stress free travel and full enjoyment. All bookings went without a hitch, Excellent communications with you Kayla, a great job, you’re a gem!

Margaret & Warwick Yarnton, Discover New Zealand Tour, Travelled on 5 Mar 2026

Highlights of our tour were the Te Pa Tu Cultural experience in Rotorua, whale watching in Kaikoura, the Milford Sound cruise and TranzAlpine train journey. These all provided completely new experiences for us, insights into Maori history and culture and breathtaking scenery throughout NZ, especially the South Island. Accommodation was excellent throughout, frequently allowing for some self-catering and always a very comfortable night's sleep.
Overall, we enjoyed wonderful experiences and a broad snapshot of New Zealand. On any future visit we would spend longer in national parks and wilderness areas, generally bypassing city areas.

Kerrie & Steve Duan, South Island Highlights, Travelled on 11 Mar 2026

Enjoyed so much on this itinerary , it was so easy to follow and the timing at each place was great. The extra info re things to see on our driving days was so helpful. All of the experience options we chose were amazing, I think the Te Anau glow worm experience was a highlight for me. All of the rooms were very comfortable although we did love the view from our bed at Hamner Springs
Thanks Chelsea and the other staff members who responded promptly via the chat when I did have questions

Cathy Adams & Steve Helmke, Auckland to Queenstown 15 Day Self Drive Tour, Travelled on 10 Mar 2026

It's difficult to pick just one experience, as everything we did was amazing! However, a real highlight for me was visiting Hamilton Gardens, which has eighteen enclosed spaces depicting gardens from different times and cultures. It's the most fantastic botanical garden I have ever visited, and likely, will ever visit. Other highlights included the Sea Life aquarium in Auckland, an evening forest walk to view glowworms outside Rotorua, an evening tour of the nature preserve Zealandia in Wellington, Christchurch with its wonderful botanic garden, touring a glacial lake and star gazing at Aoraki/Mt. Cook and visiting Milford Sound in Fiordland. Our accommodations were very comfortable, giving easy access to everything we wanted to see. All in all, we could not have asked for a better tour of New Zealand!

Mt cook national park was a breathtaking place to visit, as well as the beautiful scenery of the south island as a whole. Rotorua quickly became a favourite as well with the rich culture and Maori cultural evening was incredible to watch. All tours were tailored so well to what I wanted to experience, and the in app messaging was so quick and friendly, as well as the app itself was amazing to use for the entire itinerary and more.
An absolute incredible tour made by some amazing and friendly staff who do nothing but their best for you.

Catherine Dorsett and John Dorsett, Cath & John's Kiwi Exploration, Travelled on 10 Mar 2026

Really enjoyed the Te Pa Tu cultural evening, the Zealandia experience in Wellington, whale watching in Kaikōura, Mount Cook glacier explorer and star gazing. We had a wonderful evening on the Earnslaw in Queenstown and an excellent day trip to Milford Sound with Altitude tours. All hotels were excellent, we particularly enjoyed the space at Scenic Suites, Queenstown.
All scheduled pick ups worked smoothly.

Dennis Longnecker & Judith Anderson, The Land of the Long White Cloud's Scenic Wonders, Travelled on 8 Mar 2026

We truly enjoyed this trip from start to finish—it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived in New Zealand, everything felt seamless. Having someone there at the airport ready to greet us and take us to the hotel was such a thoughtful touch and made for a stress-free arrival after a long journey. All of the hotel arrangements were outstanding. Every property was comfortable, well-located, and welcoming—honestly, there wasn’t a single disappointment. It was such a pleasure to simply walk up to the front desk or an activity check-in, give our name, and have everything perfectly organized and ready to go. That level of coordination made the entire experience feel effortless. We also really appreciated the pacing of the itinerary. No day ever felt too packed or rushed, which allowed us to fully enjoy each experience. The days with nothing scheduled turned out to be just as valuable, giving us the freedom to explore on our own, discover hidden gems, and enjoy a more spontaneous side of the trip. Even though I came prepared with a printed copy of the entire itinerary neatly organized in a binder, I ended up relying mostly on the app—and it worked beautifully. This was my first time using that approach, and I was impressed with how easy and reliable it was. The messaging feature, in particular, was incredibly helpful; the few times we used it, responses were quick and useful, adding an extra layer of support throughout the trip. Overall, everything came together perfectly, and we couldn’t be happier with how the trip was planned and executed. It made for a truly memorable and relaxing experience.
Everything was taken care of from start to finish. Well done. Definitely recommend you to others who might be interested.

Ellen & John Williamson, Ellen and John's New Zealand Experience, Travelled on 15 Feb 2026

The whole trip was fabulous. We loved Milford Sound and Mount Cook - so awesomely beautiful. We also loved Napier City- what a lovely small city. The waterfront is so unique and so wonderfully family friendly! My husband absolutely loved the Bay of Islands area because of all the sailing there -(he is a sailor of course). The whole country is so scenic and very tourist friendly. We were so pleased that everything you booked for us went so smoothly - no tickets or documents needed. All we had to do was give our names - so simple. It was a great way to visit a country we knew very little about before going there. We really appreciated the advice and assistance and loved having the app. The app worked so well! It was wonderful to have all our accommodation booked for us with the kitchen amenities we requested. I could not have found these on my own.
Overall, I am very happy that we booked our trip through NZ Fine Tours. I could not have done this kind of trip without their assistance and it was wonderful to know there was someone there locally that we could call if we had questions or concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend them and to use them again!
