Brian & Natalie Newton, 20 Day South Island Spectacular, Travelled on 31 Jan 2026

We enjoyed every part of the trip. Highlights were the glacier walk and Milford Sound experience. All the hotels were good with the standouts being at Mount Cook and Punakaiki due to the views
We were very happy with all aspects of the trip and will definitely recommend to our friends.

Robert Rodweller & Cathy Case, Robert's Return to New Zealand, Travelled on 25 Jan 2026

The planning and the recommended scheduled and pre paid were EXCELLENT!! It's very difficult to rate one experience higher than the rest, because they were all excellent. Most memorable was watching the little Blue Penguins return from the sea and walk to return to their nesting locations. Also, the Larnach Castle and gardens were well worth .

Scott & Cynthia Atkison, Julie Campbell & Terry Estep, New Zealand Road Trip!!, Travelled on 12 Jan 2026

I loved the Te Pa Tu Evening Cultural Experience/Dinner in Rotorua. I also thoroughly enjoyed Mt. Cook National Park, and our time in Queenstown and the experiences we had from there (TSS Earnslaw Cruise/Dinner and Milford Sound coach/cruise/fly).
It was a spectacular experience! Having all the details of our itinerary on the app made it so easy to keep track of all our accommodations, activities and experiences...and the in-country support from your office was outstanding. Bravo!!

Doug & Debbie MacGillivray, Northern Highlights and Geothermal Wonders, Travelled on 4 Jan 2026

It was all great but our accommodations at the Admirals View Lodge - Paihia ( must be room 8, the balcony) was one of our favourites followed by the Bolton Hotel in Wellington. The Adina Apartment Hotel was perfect on our arrival (one Bedroom apartment), not so much prior to our trip completion. We would have liked to do some laundry prior to continuing our journey. All the excursions were ideal for what we were looking for. We really enjoyed the trip to Cape Reinga...even pushing out the stuck bus on the beach. The Northern Explorer Scenic Train was much better than we thought it would be and a nice surprise. Maybe provide a little more detail as to what to expect. We did not expect the luxury provided. A very pleasant surprise, the commentary during the trip was excellent.
Since returning any discussions we have had with people were all positive and we could only heap praise on New Zealand and Fine Tours. A few stated they would be following up and are genuinely interested.

Kim & Beth Rossman, The Natural Wonders Of New Zealand, Travelled on 5 Feb 2026

Beth and I enjoyed every step of the way in our adventure in New Zealand. What we most admired about New Zealand Fine Tours are the people. Whenever an issue arose, they were there, resolved the matter and we were on our way again. In short. the people are amazing and give you the feeling that they are with you on your journey. You really couldn't ask for anything more.
Our sincere thanks to the team at New Zealand Fine Tours that helped my wife and I along the way in our journey across New Zealand.

Penny & Arthur Karagaslis with Helen & Darren Johnson, Coast to Coast South Island, Travelled on 1 Feb 2026

We didn’t feel like we had enough time in Christchurch. We could’ve had another half or day. Winery trip on the last day was perfect. If we did it on the first or second day, we would’ve bought wine to drink throughout the trip:) Maybe best we left it to last. Could’ve stayed in Dunedin an extra day. St.Claire great spot. Access to the salt pool was amazing. Accommodation was fabulous! Larnach Castle was a great stay. Lots to explore in the castle and the gardens were beautiful. The dinner was average but breakfast the next day was really nice. Staff were really nice. We stopped at Omaru for a driving break and discovered Steampunk HQ which was so good!! The town was very pretty. Lots to see. Mount Cook was great but staff were not helpful. They didn’t talk to us about the area so we weren’t sure how to find walking tracks suitable for us. They were busy taking a full priced holding fee! Something to warn future travelers. Pub okay. Accommodation suitable. View of the mountain was beautiful. Buffet dinner was nice. Te Anau accommodation was average. Upstairs and room very basic. Not central. Had to drive to main restaurants. Nice Pies there though. Recommend getting a bus to Milford Sound. It’s a pain driving there and looking for parking, especially if it’s raining. Queenstown was so good! We had so much fun there. Great accommodation with beautiful views. Dragging the suitcase upstairs was worth it. We walked everywhere. It was a really good stay. Did our washing. Shopping, luge ride, gondola, the steam boat to the farm was so good. Dinner was the best buffet dinner I’ve had! Franz Josef drive was long but we loved it. Had great weather. Suggested activity has to be helicopter flights that land on the mountain. (Weather permitting) Loved it. It was our best experience. Driving schedule demanding at times. Franz Josef to Greymouth was a short drive but through torrential rain. The train ride was a lovely change to driving & much needed.
Just to say thank you. The app was really easy to use. Most of the accommodation we stayed was fabulous. The road trip gave us many amazing breathtaking views & memorable experiences. The South Island is stunning! Our photos look like postcards!

Barry & Shuna Sweeting, Explore the Natural Wonders of New Zealand..., Travelled on 7 Jan 2026

Hard to distinguish! Stand outs were Doubtful Sound, Kiwi Journey e-bike, Wanaka (Total), Golf, Steamboat dinner and Shotover at Queenstown and everything at Mount Cook National Park. The remaining locations and activities were only brilliant by comparison, and it’s almost unfair not to name them also. In fact It is unfair! Accommodation tops were the Edgewater and the Hermitage, although most were amazing also.
This was a truly special experience and logistical joy. Delivered what we had requested, and more. We felt privileged to be amongst the premier venues and accommodations, and we experienced the best of the options. Well done to Kayla and the team for putting such a masterpiece together. Timings allocated between locations was always spot on, and we covered 3800km of brilliant sightseeing on the way. The professionals, and we are missing them already!

Tony & Kylie Coman, Tony & Kylie's Self Drive Southern Icons Tour, Travelled on 3 Feb 2026

I couldn't fault any part of my trip. Well done to everyone 👏 we had a blast enjoyed all the scenery and even those tricky roads around the mountains haha

Cuneyt & Aglaia Berkman, Coast to Coast Tour, Travelled on 24 Jan 2026

The whole tour was amazing and well planned. We loved seeing all the different sceneries and experiences that New Zealand has to offer. From the glaciers, the waterfalls & lakes to the cities and towns. There was not one day that we weren’t amazed by New Zealand. Thank you to Owen for his amazing assistance with everything. Highly recommended and looking forward to our next trip.

Gary Jones & Vicki Jones, South Island Spectacular, Travelled on 14 Jan 2026

Most definitely enjoyed the whole trip but standout parts included Franz Josef, Tasman Glacier, Mt. cook and Wanaka.
Tayla was amazing! Everything was clearly set out and the whole experience went without a hitch. The accommodation was first class. It's definitely a 10/10 from us.
