We loved Queenstown, stayed at the Novotel Lakeside which was perfect and in the heart of restaurants, bars, cafe's and shops a great buzz. So much to do here, Milford Sound was lovely even though it rained and had fun with the gondola and luge ride. Also a great bike ride to winery and tasting at Kinross Cellar door.
Our helicopter ride and landing in the snow at Franz Josef Glazier was a highlight on a perfect day. Lake Wanaka is beautiful, lovely restaurants and good vibe.
Our train trips were also great and a good combination with some driving. Auckland is beautiful and need to return as only had 2 nights there.
We enjoyed so many wonderful meals including a Smorgasbord at Mt Cook, and our accommodation was always in prime areas and beautiful.
We want to thank Emily-Rose for putting our fantastic itinerary together and being so very efficient in her communications with us, taking all the stress out of preparing for our trip. Everything ran smoothly with our planned itinerary and it was lovely to have a car waiting for us at each stop.
Thanks again to Emily-Rose.
Every day ran smoothly with easy check-ins at all accommodation & with car collection & train trip. All accommodation was fantastic - views from apartment in Queenstown were amazing! Every activity was really enjoyable, and was great to know you were looking after us when we swapped to the bus for the rainy (& a bit of snow) on our travel into Milford Sound. Ended up as a perfect comfortable day with fabulous commentary along the way.
Had great luck with the weather - clear views from the Queenstown Gondola & a fantastic blue sky for the Twin Glacier helicopter flight. Truly magic!!
The whole circuit was just what we wanted. Car travel was easy , accommodation at all locations was well chosen.
We found the consultants Katie and Nicole to be excellent answering questions promptly making the whole experience excellent. Well done ladies!
Driving through the beautiful and ever changing landscapes of New Zealand was perhaps the most memorable experience;)

I enjoyed every minute of this trip. From day one, I would say to myself "this is going to be the highlight of the trip" and it just kept getting better. If I had to choose, I would say I most enjoyed my stay in the Marlborough Sounds, Sealy Tarns track hike in Mount Cook National Park, and the Doubtful Sound overnight cruise. I also loved the day trip to Milford Sound and night at Blanket Bay. I was able to see the Southern Lights from Te Anau (right across the street from my hotel), which was an amazing unexpected experience. I loved being in peaceful locations where I could hear nothing but the dawn chorus in the morning, and see every star in the sky at night.
This trip of a lifetime was everything I'd hoped it would be...and more!
Whilst the North is beautiful the South Island is our favorite, the scenery and endless things to see and do are amazing. The drive to and the cruise on the Milford Sound during a rain storm was quite simply stunning and almost beyond words (as were other areas too numerous to list)
Thank you for an amazing trip. We were very impressed by the teams responsiveness to any question we had during the trip and were fantastic in helping us change things during a storm and our drive to Wellington. We could not be happier with our experience
Being right in Mount cook was also superb. We loved Te Anau and Lakefront Lodge especially it was lovely to be there for a few days. Highlights were the Overnight cruise to Doubtful Sound and Trans Alpine Train and all the views everywhere.
Milford Sound was one of the most breathtaking landscapes I’ve ever been to. It was like stepping into the home of a Norse God. It was big, grand and daunting. The nicest hotel was a toss-up between Naumi Studio in Wellington and Britomart in Auckland. Service was tremendous and incredibly accommodating, especially from Naumi which helped with a baggage issue with one of the airlines I travelled on.
Neisha addressed every question and concern, immediately and thoroughly. Her hotel selections were top notch, as well the daily activities she recommended. Would highly recommend Neisha for anyone who plans to travel to New Zealand.
Heliservices Franz Josef Flight and snow landing. In perfect weather we flew over and landed on the snow. The flight was amazing with incredible views, the staff were helpful and informative, and the pilot was professional and thorough. On a par with the flight, I can thoroughly recommend the Tranz Alpine Scenic Rail experience with the plus addon. The day journey over southern alps was a fabulous experience with amazing views and scrumptious food. All staff were incredibly helpful and friendly from the check in to disembarking at Greymouth.
