John & Patricia Pollock, 15 day South Island Natural Discovery, Travelled on 21 Oct 2025

Enjoyed all, special places, Larnach, Doubtful Sound, Arthur’s Pass rail (Tranz Alpine)

David & Aileen Hulbert, The Length & Breadth North to South, Travelled on 30 Sep 2025

There were many varied experiences. Probably the top three were the Doubtful Sound o/n cruise, the TranzAlpine train with upgrade, and our unscheduled drive to and stay in Wanaka. Of course, the Maori cultural experiences and education were immensely enriching. And we had the best guide in Hobbiton, too. Your service with the weather-related changes was fast, efficient, and pleasing.
We had a great time and loved your itinerary. We were also very lucky as the adverse weather didn't really affect us too much. We always tend to be lucky. 😁 Now I've got a heavy month ahead of me, trying to edit all our photos for our photo book. 🤣

Linda & Jonathan Lilly, New Zealand Discoverer North to South Self Drive Tour, Travelled on 10 Oct 2025

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our driving tour through New Zealand. Stunning green landscapes, ice-capped mountains, and many rivers. Flying over snow-topped mountains, cruising Milford Sound, Te Pa Tu cultural experience, and Hobbiton were highlights. People were friendly and the food was amazing! Our itinerary was carefully curated by Louise Hodge, who listened to our requests, made suggestions of things not to miss, and supported us when wild weather required changes to our trip. The Fine Tours team was excellent, always available and helpful. We found the Fine Tours App to be very useful!
Thanks to the whole team, we had a fantastic holiday!

Wendy and Anthony Edwards, Wendy and Tony Edwards North Island Holiday, Travelled on 13 Oct 2025

The Arcadia Lodge at Russell was an outstanding B&B with excellent breakfasts. We really enjoyed the Te PaTu Maori cultural experience at Rotorua. It was very well presented and the dinner was great. And finally the Northern Explorer Train was wonderful, lovely scenery and great food again.

Renea & Ryan Tonkin, Renea's South Island Exploration With Rotorua & Hobbiton, Travelled on 21 Sep 2025

The whole experience was incredible. We loved Mount Cook. The accommodation was sensational, the hiking was breathtaking and even though our Glacier explorer trip was cancelled we managed to find track to walk down to the lake with the glaciers the next day - a dream come true! Hobbiton was beyond my expectations and definately worth doing the behind the scenes tour. Ben, our tour guide, for the Milford Sound trip was fantastic! His knowledge, sense of humour etc made the day incredibly enjoyable. We met some incredible people and have such amazing memories that we will cherish always.
We absolutely loved the app! Made the whole experience so much easier. We were so impressed with Janette and all her help (without being pushy) whilst we were planning our trip. The information that gets sent through to us was incredibly helpful and took a lot of pressure off having to know things and research ourselves. Would definately use your company again.

Mr Ian & Mrs Frauke Hobbs, 9 Day - Southern Lakes and TranzAlpine Circuit with Wanaka, Travelled on 27 Sep 2025

Firstly, our self drive tour was fantastic. Thanks so much for organising it for us. My wife and I live in a quiet location in the Adelaide Hills, therefore some of the locations were very noisy to us particularly Queenstown, but it is a tourist town. Rooms with a view tended to be overlooking main road and hence very noisy. A quick call to Fine Tours and rooms booked for the next few days were then located in a quiet part of the accomodation complex. Fantastic service. Wanaka was enjoyable. The Mooring appartments were beautifull and very comfortable. All accomodation was good and beds varied but mostly comfortable. Angela was wonderful in planning our tour and the other staff members that we spoke to during our tour were very helpfull and courtious. I have already recommended your tours to friends and told them how easy it was to pick up the rental car and book into our accomodation. We are now thinking about when we will travel to NZ again and will book another tour with you if it fit our itinerary.
A big thank you!!!

Anthony & Kath Ball, Northern Wonders Tour, Travelled on 9 Sep 2025

Cannot specify the most enjoyable as it was all good, probably the best were Hahei and Piahia as they were very relaxing after the first part of the holiday. The M Social Hotel was excellent, staff were brilliant, so were breakfasts. Although the B & B's were excellent also. Warkworth Lodge and Masonic Art Deco were good but needed a little TLC. Car rental was very good, especially in Wellington. Pick ups were also good, on time and Katie was very good in your office when I enquired about traffic in Auckland on the Rugby Day. Shows how good you are as we did not need to contact the office except for the last day.
Would love to go back to New Zealand but I think age is catching up with us, sorry to say.

Anthony & Jonathan Igra, Anthony's South Island Sightseeing Tour, Travelled on 7 Oct 2025

The drive from Te Anau to Milford Sound is unforgettable! Nicest bed defintley the Kamana Lakehouse!
Owen planned a great trip. Was smooth sailing!

Fran Dorey & Tara Gilkeson, Auckland to Queenstown Highlights Tour, Travelled on 1 Oct 2025

Loved the diversity of locations, scenery, hotels and experiences. Such a perfect mix of adrenaline, adventure, discovery and food! My daughter and I loved the zip-lining in Kaikoura, but night tour of Zealandia was unique, Hobbiton was amazing, and the Te Pa Tu dining experience was awesome. Can't pick one! Each hotel was great, with good locations, fabulous buffet breakfast and good service.
Really appreciate the work that went into this - the app was so useful and informative, hotels well selected, activities varied and entertaining ... the list goes on.

Mark and Janet Meldrum, Scenic Highlights of the Bottom of the South, Travelled on 14 Sep 2025

There was not one part of the trip that we could say stood out from our whole journey. We enjoyed every part of our trip and the accommodation that was chosen for us by Louise made the trip even more enjoyable. If one thing did stand out it was the beautiful scenery that is New Zealand.
We will be back again in 2027 with our family and look forward to using the great service provided by your company Fine Tours Group.
