Don't miss out on hiking the spectacular Milford Track

Over 100 years later and this still rings true. The Milford Track has grown out of humble beginnings, from its establishment in 1888 by pioneer Quintin Mackinnon to present day and a firmly established trek marked out as one of the greatest guided walking adventures in the world. Take the plunge and follow in the footsteps of those early pioneers as you discover the beauty hidden within Fiordland National Park.

Part of the Te Wahipounamu Southwest New Zealand World Heritage Area, the Milford track takes in craggy mountain peaks, deep, glassy fiords and lakes, beautifully peaceful rainforests and sheer granite rock faces, soaring above walkers as they wind their way through the valleys.

The Milford Track Guided Walk, operated by Ultimate Hikes, is a 5-day all-inclusive guided walking package including transport to and from Queenstown, meals, accommodation, snacks, backpacks, rain jackets and, perhaps best of all, a cruise through the majestic Milford Sound to wrap up what will be one of the greatest weeks of exploration in your life.

Join a guided hike and hope for rain – for only when it rains do you get to experience the true majesty of this spectacular landscape, walking a world-renowned track as hundreds of waterfalls cascade down the rock faces towering above.
